Trust-State Certification is a formal certification program defining requirements for trust-state integrity, authorization correctness, and credential-state validity. Certification designations are issued only to entities that meet the established program criteria.

Trust-State Certified and Trust-State Verified are official designations administered under the Trust-State Certification program and are governed by documented evaluation procedures and designation usage rules.

The Trust-State Ledger preserves historical trust-state records for auditability and transparency. It does not issue certifications or perform verification services.

Program governance, certification criteria, evaluation processes, and designation usage rules are maintained and updated in accordance with published Trust-State Certification policies.
